The University of Chicago and the Oriental Institute have the honor to host the 10th International Congress of Hittitology, the triennial gathering of Hittitologists and Anatolianists.

The meeting will be held in Chicago, USA, from August 28th through September 1st, 2017. The theme of this meeting is “The Next 100 Years.”

All necessary practical information is available on this website and in the circulars, as they will be announced here and on the Agade list.

We look forward to welcoming you in Chicago, home of the Chicago Hittite Dictionary.

Deadline booking Max Palevski dorms approaching very fast

The window to book a room in the Max Palevsky dorms will be closing soon. On Friday, July 28, the link to book the rooms will be disabled. The Hyatt and LaQuinta will continue to accept guests at the conference rate.

Late abstract submission still possible

It is still possible to submit abstracts after the cut-off date of May 31, 2017. However, since the organizing committee has both begun reviewing the abstracts received before that date and building the program, a slot that is appropriate for the topic of a late abstract cannot be guaranteed.
