Arrangements have been made with the University of Chicago’s College Housing to reserve fifty rooms in one of the university’s residence halls, the Max Palevsky Residential Commons. The price for these rooms is $75 a night per person. The rooms will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis. To make reservations, please use the following link: https://www.regonline.com/ich10lodging. Payment is due upon reservation.
Arrangements have been made with Hyatt Place South to block fifteen rooms for Congress participants at a reduced rate. The price for these rooms is $185 per night (not included the 17.4% tax). The hotel provides a shuttle service to the University of Chicago campus.
To make a reservation there are two options:
Option #1 – Call the central reservation department at the 24 hour toll-free number +1-888-591-1234 and reference the International Congress of Hittitology to book a room at the group rate.
Option#2 – Go to the website of the Hyatt via the link https://chicagosouthuniversity.place.hyatt.com. Enter the conference date then click availability. Click on the special rate box and a drop down will appear. Click on Corporate or Group Code, then enter G-ICH1 in the box. Click availability again and the group rate will appear for guest to book a room.
In order to qualify for the special conference rate, reservations must be made by Thursday, July 27, 2017.

The hotel provides a shuttle service to the University of Chicago campus. For reservations please contact the hotel at +1-773-324-3000 or email firstname.lastname@example.org and reference either the Oriental Institute or the 10th International Congress of Hittitology.
There is no deadline for reservations with the special conference rate.
The earlier you reserve, the better!
Quaker House (rates per bed $35-$55)
Quaker House is a good, inexpensive option for a self-organized group. The room in question has two full and two twin beds, a shared bathroom and a shared kitchen. The Quaker House is right in the heart of campus, a very good and convenient location, 5615 S. Woodlawn Ave. To check availability please fill out the Reservation Form or call +1-773-288-3066.
McCormick Seminary ($60 single/$90 double)
We offer students the option to stay with a graduate student. Please email email@example.com, and the student-organizers will match you with one of the students in our network. Options are very limited, so be quick!
